Who am I, and what am I doing here?
I’m Tim, a men’s basketball beat writer for The Chronicle and college basketball fanatic. This will be my third season covering Duke basketball, the past perks including trips to various ACC arenas, Spring Break ‘07 in Buffalo (yes, it did snow), and an aborted trip to Phoenix last March. I’ve been watching college basketball pretty extensively my whole life, and I can remember most teams that have made the NCAA Tournament since 1997. I can name all 31 major conferences, over 300 of the 341 Division 1-A teams, and I regularly project the NCAA Tournament bracket for my own amusement.
I’m a senior English major and History minor (a.k.a. I’ve got PLENTY of time on my hands) from New Jersey hoping for a Giants’ repeat and a Mets’ return to glory.
Any questions? Don’t hesitate to comment or send me an e-mail at timbeyondthearc@gmail.com.
P.S. If you get the extremely vague Simpsons reference at the top of the page, we can be friends right away.

Hey Tim,
Got a new blog I have just unveiled in the past week — searchingforbillyedelin.wordpress.com. It’s a pretty straight forward, college basketball blog peppered with cynicism. Looking to get linked up w/ you guys, wondering if you could add us to your blog roll. I’ve already done so on our end–really like your site. Also a big Duke fan if that scores any brownie points
Hopefully you can help us out as we get going.
Thanks,
Nick Fasulo
